Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 0-2 years of facilities management/engineering experience preferred in manufacturing.
• Basic understanding of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, design, and execution of facility maintenance projects including preventive maintenance schedules and corrective actions.
• Conduct routine inspections of facility systems to identify and address issues.
• Support troubleshooting and repair of facility equipment and systems under guidance of experienced engineers.
• Assist in managing facility-related documentation (blueprints, manuals, maintenance records).
• Collaborate with EH&S and production to ensure safety compliance and meet needs.
• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for facility services and repairs.
• Contribute to energy optimization and sustainable facility practices.
• Respond to facility emergencies and provide immediate support as required.
• Learn and apply Jabil's quality and safety standards in all activities.
