Summary

Assist Project team on start-up, commissioning, validation, IQ, OQ and PQ to completion. Responsible for the operation and maintenance of the BMS and EMS ensuring all manufacturing production requirements are met in terms of engineering support and utilities supplies. Opportunity to lead a critical system supporting entire factory that has the potential for tremendous knowledge growth.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Responsible for the day-to-day Utility & Facility Operations to ensure smooth manufacturing operation, compliance to GMP, Dexcom and Malaysia’s safety/environment standards and legislative regulations.
  2. Support and work closely with all Plant EHS and Quality initiatives and targets.
  3. Responsible for the day-to-day Utilities Operations (Utilities & Facilities, Maintenance, Automation & Control) to ensure smooth manufacturing operation.
  4. Responsible to ensure the Building Management System (BMS) & Environment Monitoring System (EMS) run smoothly. Spares/consumables inventory meeting critical maintenance requirement.
  5. Upkeep EMS/BMS instrument master list and ensure list is being updated from time to time whenever there are any changes.
  6. Assist in development of specific documentation, procedures and site change control processes for equipment and process.
  7. Establish Preventive Maintenance Schedule and Oversee the preventive maintenance and calibration program for facilities equipment in regard to BMS/EMS.
  8. Participate in ad-hoc projects and perform other duties as assigned.
  9. Carry out other work or task as directed by Manager.
Required Qualifications
  1. Diploma or higher in Electrical, Controls, Mechanical or other related qualification.
  2. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  3. Having 2 years of industry experience in Facilities will be an added advantage.
  4. Basic knowledge in facilities systems automation and controls. Able to demonstrate sound knowledge in facilities system controls and relevant instrumentation.
  5. Able to understand BMS/EMS architecture and commission/validate the systems independently.
  6. Strong understanding and experience of GMP & EHS requirements and external/internal audits
  7. Strong business and customer focus
  8. Good engineering problem solving skills, workload resource planning and prioritization skills and communication skills.
  9. Continuous challenge and improvement of current operations
  10. Organized and good team player, able to multi-task and work under pressure
  11. Knowledge on Lean Sigma tools (5S /Pareto /5 WHY /DMAIC / RCA /Fish bone analysis) will be an added advantage.
  12. Knowledge on ISO standards for medical devices will be an added advantage.
