Job summary

KAYA RASA SDN. BHD. is seeking an engineer assistant to support daily and yearly maintenance activities in our Penang facility, focusing on electrical and mechanical work. You will oversee electrical installations, monitor high voltage equipment, and ensure compliance with GMP guidelines and housekeeping standards.

The role involves coordinating with supervisors, troubleshooting faults, and ensuring all maintenance tasks align with the engineering plan and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience with electrical and mechanical maintenance activities.
• Knowledge of high voltage facility equipment operation and monitoring.
• Understanding of electrical systems, installations, and regulations.
• Familiarity with GMP systems and workplace housekeeping practices.

Responsibilities

• Maintain electrical supply, reticulation, installations and equipment.
• Oversee day-to-day facility operations, electrical installation and monitoring of high voltage equipment.
• Supervise production equipment maintenance and contractor work.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults and recommend long-term solutions.
• Ensure compliance with electrical regulations and GMP housekeeping.
• Report abnormalities to the superior.
• Perform tasks assigned by management.
