About The Role

As a Facilities Coordinator at Resmed, you will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining our manufacturing facilities to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations. You will be responsible for delivering responsive facility services across production, R&D, IT, and other business areas while supporting critical systems that keep our operations running smoothly.

About The Team

Join a team of experienced Facility Management professionals overseeing Resmed’s manufacturing sites in Singapore and Malaysia. Together, we ensure our facilities meet regulatory standards, support operational excellence, and provide a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Ensure critical production, facilities, and service-related systems remain operational and comply with Quality, Regulatory, and legislative requirements.
  2. Oversee ordering of consumables and parts related to facility management.
  3. Support facilities setup for new or existing manufacturing environments, including validation protocols (IQ/OQ/PQ), audit preparations, and documentation updates.
  4. Supervise and coordinate soft services including housekeeping (including cleaning supplies), pest control, waste management, security system (card access, CCTV), audio-visual systems, office furniture, and environmental matters.
  5. Manage service performance levels focusing on safety, cost, quality, and environmental standards for third-party contractors.
  6. Handle purchase requisitions (PR), purchase orders (PO), invoices, and delivery orders (DO) under the Soft Servicing system.
  7. Maintain and implement Preventive Planned Maintenance (PPM) schedules within the Soft Servicing program.
  8. Support employee onboarding and visitor relocation processes related to ID card access.
  9. Track expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  10. Collaborate with the OH&S team to ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements.
  11. Provide on-call support and after-hours presence as needed for emergencies or maintenance activities.
  12. Act as the soft services lead for multiple Resmed manufacturing sites in Malaysia.
  13. Assist with ad-hoc facility tasks and projects as required.

Qualifications & Experience

  1. Diploma in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a relevant discipline.
  2. Minimum 2 years’ experience in facilities management within a manufacturing, property, or building/construction environment.
  3. Proven ability to plan, supervise, and manage day-to-day facility operations and service providers.
  4. Effective communication skills in both English and Malay (oral and written).
  5. Experience with GMP practices or cleanroom operations is preferred.
  6. Familiarity with ISO certifications is a plus.
  7. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and facility management software.
  8. Skilled in managing data and maintenance programs through integrated maintenance management platforms.
  9. Strong ability to maintain audit-ready standard operating procedures (SOPs), systems, and documentation.
  10. Certified Scheduled Waste Officer with DoE is a plus.
