Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced Microsoft Fabric engineer to stand up and configure the Fabric platform, build the ingestion and transformation pipelines, and take the solution through validation, deployment and knowledge transfer.

This is a delivery-focused, client-facing role requiring deep Fabric experience, architecture understanding, and the ability to explain design decisions to technical and business stakeholders. Local presence in Malaysia is required.

Qualifications

Hands-on Microsoft Fabric delivery experience in production workloads.
Strong data engineering fundamentals for ingestion, transformation and orchestration.
Proficiency in SQL and data modelling for structured and unstructured data.
Comfortable presenting to client stakeholders and guiding architecture decisions.
Experience with UAT, CAB processes and production deployments.

Responsibilities

Provision and configure Fabric capacities, workspaces, semantic models and related Azure services.
Deploy Fabric admin and governance packs and ETL frameworks.
Establish secure connectivity between the data platform and external sources.
Design ingestion pipelines and implement medallion-layer transformations.
Manage reference data integration and ensure data quality.
Produce as-built documentation and run knowledge-transfer sessions.
