October 2025 – September 2026 (12-month contract)

PROTÉGÉ = Professional Training and Education for Growing Entrepreneurs

A government initiative designed to help fresh graduates gain work experience and soft skills through structured training and real-world job placements, enhancing employability.

Eligibility

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation and Food Technology only.

Responsibilities
  1. To lead supervisory and workers to sustain productivity, quality, cost, speed and attainment.
  2. To lead TPM Autonomous Maintenance program, to compile OPL and AM.
  3. To continuously establish new Autonomous Maintenance teams to accomplish set TPM target.
  4. To manage etams (Attendance record) for supervisory and bargainable staff.
  5. To analyze downtime and coordinate with Engineering team to carry out timely Preventive Maintenance and ensure availability of machine spares.
  6. To ensure plant operation meets set target and KPIs.
  7. To ensure plant complies with QMS, GMP, HACCP, ISO 19001, ISO 22000, ISO 14000.
  8. To ensure a safe work place and carry out 5S.
  9. To participate in the ICC, Kaizen or QCC program.
  10. To train subordinates to improve skill competency.
  11. To facilitate and lead MDWT team and to be an MDWT coach.
  12. To implement and execute works procedure, checklist and update of production records.
  13. To conduct counselling and ensure workers’ grievances are attended to immediately.
  14. To carry out tasks and assignments given by superiors from time to time.
