Role Overview

The Outlet Team Leader ensures efficient and professional food and beverage service within the restaurant, maintaining budgeted profit through cost and stock control. This role supervises team members and guarantees guests receive high standards of service according to Hilton policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
  1. Know and explain menu contents in detail to guests, including dietary requirements and suggestions for different nationalities.
  2. Label buffet dishes correctly and keep buffet areas clean.
  3. Familiarize with all outlet menus to recommend options to guests and promote other outlets.
  4. Prepare the cashier’s desk for service, check reservations, and manage large bookings.
  5. Ensure the restaurant is clean, tidy, and ready for guests.
  6. Assist bar and kitchen staff as needed and carry out duties assigned by supervisors or managers.
  7. Greet guests warmly, assist with coats and bags, and escort them to tables, offering choices for smoking or non-smoking areas.
  8. Offer menus to passersby, provide newspapers to breakfast guests, and accommodate guest requests with suitable alternatives.
  9. Ensure all service procedures meet Hilton standards, follow up on guest queries, and check guest satisfaction.
  10. Maintain cleanliness and safety standards, report incidents, and ensure health and safety practices are observed.
  11. Train new team members and perform other duties as assigned.
Candidate Profile

Ideal candidates have:

  • Good English communication skills, both verbal and written.
