You will lead, mentor, and empower a team of restaurant managers to ensure smooth and efficient day-to-day operations of the restaurant to deliver exceptional dining experiences and drive continuous improvement. Key responsibilities include:
Oversee restaurant operations (30%): Manage daily operations across multiple restaurants in Alor Setar, Sungai Petani, and Ipoh, ensuring adherence to brand standards, SOPs, and quality control measures.
Lead and empower restaurant managers (20%): Provide mentorship and guidance to restaurant managers, foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and professional growth.
Champion team success (20%): Proactively identify and address restaurant manager concerns, troubleshoot operational challenges, and offer solutions to drive continuous improvement.
Manage inventory and supplies (10%): Oversee inventory management, forecasting, procurement, and cost control measures to minimise waste and ensure optimal stock levels.
Identify and implement improvements (10%): Analyse operational data, identify areas for optimisation, and implement process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Stay abreast of industry trends (10%): Remain informed about industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices to continuously enhance operations and the restaurant’s standards in food quality, service, ambiance, and overall guest experience.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, like Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or other related disciplines
Minimum 5 – 8 years of experience in restaurant operations management
Previous experience as an Assistant Manager, Restaurant Manager, Regional Manager, or have held Corporate Operations-related roles, focusing on training, development, quality assurance, or new store openings. Gained experience in specific areas like kitchen operations, service, guest relations, catering, hospitality management, led multiple restaurants within a chain, and/or managed regional operations
Able to communicate in Mandarin as you will deal with Taiwanese management team and counterparts
Knowledge in most of the following: Food safety, operations management, Halal certification, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt, leadership, process optimization, inventory management, scheduling, staffing, budgeting, cost control

This role requires frequent travel (average once every 2 - 3 days) to different restaurant across Northern region.
