Job summary

PhillipCapital is seeking a Software Developer (.NET) in Kuala Lumpur to join the Application Development team. You will analyze, design, develop, test, implement, maintain and support business-critical applications using C#, ASP.NET MVC/Core and SQL Server.

Responsibilities include API design, SDLC participation, troubleshooting, code reviews, and documentation. The role emphasizes independent work, quality solutions, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
• 4+ years of hands-on software development experience with Microsoft technologies.
• Experience in maintenance and production support environments.
• Strong C#, .NET Framework and .NET (ASP.NET MVC and ASP.NET Core).
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including design, stored procedures, views, functions, query optimization, and performance tuning.
• Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs and web services.
• Good understanding of OOP, design patterns, and software engineering principles.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, develop, test, implement, maintain and support business applications.
• Develop, enhance, and maintain web and windows-based applications using .NET technologies.
• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and system integrations.
• Participate in all SDLC phases and conduct unit testing and SIT/UAT support.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues in various environments.
• Provide Level 2 application support and BAU operations.
• Collaborate with business users, testers, and stakeholders to gather requirements.
• Prepare technical documentation and participate in code reviews.
