The experienced Facilities Senior Engineer, Facilities Engineering (Mechanical), provides strong leadership and direction to the facilities team, contractors, and staff. In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Responsible for the Mechanical Systems of the plant, including HVAC, BMS, Process Utilities (CDA, Vacuum, General Exhaust, Liquid Nitrogen), and Fire Protection System.
- Monitor these systems to ensure safe, reliable operation supporting continuous production.
- Ensure planned maintenance is effectively executed and systems comply with Authority regulations, Engineering Standards, and Safety Standards.
- Collaborate with internal customers on new process introductions and tool hook-up activities.
- Manage projects including design, procurement, and installation coordination to meet time, quality, and cost targets.
- Supervise and implement QA/QC on contractor activities to ensure conformity to drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Implement energy-efficient and energy-saving initiatives.
- Maintain proper documentation, including updating as-built drawings and documents; Autocad skills are required.
- Experience working in a cleanroom environment.
- Develop and execute comprehensive maintenance programs for critical equipment, systems, and infrastructure, coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Participate in all internal and external audits, ensuring timely closure of action items.
- Coordinate external contractors, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental obligations.
- Lead facility improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency and employee satisfaction.
- Build and maintain a strong internal team through training, guidance, and performance management.
- Implement energy conservation initiatives, monitor energy consumption, analyze trends, and identify improvement areas.
- Stay updated with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards, ensuring compliance.
- Identify operational inefficiencies and implement best practices and innovative solutions to optimize performance.
- Liaise with authorities such as DOSH, DOE, BOMBA, and others regarding Facilities and EHS matters.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned by superiors.
