Job Description & Summary
At PwC, our deals team focuses on providing strategic advice and support to clients in areas such as mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, and restructuring. The role is based in our Kuching office and involves helping organisations make deals, manage capital projects, and extract value from transactions.
You’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Key responsibilities include:

Requirements
- At least 1–3 years of transaction advisory services experience post qualification.
- Experience in financial due diligence, strong external audit background and solid knowledge of M&A activities.
- Degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance or equivalent disciplines, and/or a professional accounting qualification.
- Working knowledge of IFRS, Malaysian Companies’ Act 1965 and Code of Mergers and Takeovers.
- Knowledge in corporate finance (e.g., listing rules, financial modelling); experience from merchant or investment banks is an added advantage.
- Excellent written communication – clear, succinct and impactful.
- Excellent presentation skills – effective in both internal and external formal settings.
