About the role
As an Experience Senior Associate based in Penang, you will play a key role in delivering a seamless learner journey—from programme onboarding and engagement to career success and alumni development. You will also be involved in student recruitment, lead generation, inquiry handling, and data management, while working closely with learners, instructors, universities, and employer partners.
Your key responsibilities
Learner Success & Programme Management
- Coordinate programme operations across the full learning lifecycle: onboarding, delivery, and post-delivery
- Support learners in staying engaged, on track, and aligned with programme milestones
- Monitor learner progress, identify at-risk individuals, and coordinate support interventions
- Collect learner feedback and insights to drive continuous improvement
Career Success & Employability Support
- Assist learners with resume reviews, job search strategies, and interview preparation
- Conduct mock interviews and advise learners on professional networking
- Track employment outcomes and provide targeted support for job placement
- Facilitate career-readiness sessions and follow-up coaching as needed
Employer Engagement & Partnerships
- Identify and engage with potential employers in Penang and beyond
- Coordinate outreach efforts, employer talks, career fairs, and job matching initiatives
- Build long-term partnerships and track placement results for reporting and relationship growth
University Liaison & Learner Recruitment
- Act as the main point of contact with university departments and career centres in Penang
- Plan and implement campus-based learner recruitment strategies
- Conduct roadshows, info sessions, and one-on-one engagements to generate learner leads
- Collaborate with marketing to convert leads and support the enrolment pipeline
Programme Promotion & Lead Generation
- Promote Excelerate programmes through digital campaigns, campus visits, and community outreach
- Organise promotional events and briefing sessions to attract prospective learners
- Track and report on lead generation performance and conversion effectiveness
Student Inquiry Management
- Respond to learner inquiries via calls, WhatsApp, email, and the internal ticketing system in a timely, helpful manner
- Manage admission-related tasks and assign them to relevant team members when needed
- Follow up with learners based on updates or actions taken by other personnel
Data Collection & Record Management
- Collect and manage accurate student demographic and psychographic data
- Ensure up-to-date and complete student records within the CRM system
- Maintain data integrity for reporting, analysis, and learner support decisions
Monitoring, Reporting & Administrative Support
- Track learner milestones, cohort progress, and success indicators
- Prepare regular reports and dashboards for stakeholders and leadership
- Coordinate class logistics, instructor communication, and learner documentation
- Support continuous improvement and contribute to operational efficiency
The ideal candidate
- Must be based in Penang and able to travel locally as needed
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Business, Human Resource, or related fields
- 3 to 5 years of experience in education, L&D, student support, or career services
- Fluent in English and Malay, with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and responsive to stakeholder needs
- Familiar with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, Learning Management System (LMS) platforms, and modern communication tools
