About the Role

Monks is hiring for a Expense Operations Coordinator. This role is responsible for managing and optimizing the company's expense processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. They handle expense reporting, coordinate with departments, and implement policies to support financial integrity.

Responsibilities:
  • Process and review employee expense reports for accuracy and compliance
  • Ensure timely and proper documentation submission for corporate credit card and expense reimbursement
  • Monitor expense policies and recommend improvements
  • Collaborate with finance and accounting teams for expense reconciliation
  • Maintain expense records and documentation
  • Assist in audits and compliance reviews
  • Provide support and training to employees on expense procedures
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and process efficiencies
  • Assist in review and processing of vendor invoices, ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures
  • Assist in payment runs (ACH, wires, international transfers) in a timely manner
  • Maintain and update vendor records, respond to inquiries, and resolve payment issues or discrepancies
  • Support month-end close process by ensuring all AP transactions are recorded accurately and on time
About You
The essentials:
  • You have at least 3 years of experience working in similiar role
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or Accounting
  • Proven experience in expense management or financial operations
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in expense management software and MS Office
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Not a must, but a plus:
  • Experience in Ryodo and Netsuite
