Job summary

Yen Creative in Semenyih, Malaysia, is seeking an interior/visual designer to craft event booths, roadshows and showroom displays. You will develop creative concepts, produce 3D booth designs and detailed drawings for client approval, and create backdrops and promotional materials for each project.

You will coordinate with sales, site, and production teams, ensuring designs meet fabrication and installation requirements, while revising work based on client feedback and timelines.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in interior design, architecture, 3D design or related field.
• Experience in event booth, exhibition, roadshow or interior design projects.
• Proficiency in SketchUp, AutoCAD and 3D visualization tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop event booths, roadshows, exhibitions, and showroom training spaces.
• Prepare 3D booth designs and detailed drawings for client approvals.
• Create graphic artwork, backdrops and promotional materials for events.
• Coordinate with sales, site, production and installers to ensure design feasibility.
• Prepare artwork and design files per production and printing requirements.
• Revise designs based on client feedback and project needs.
• Ensure designs are practical for fabrication, printing and on-site installation.
• Conduct site visits and measurements as needed.
• Assist in booth layout drawings and basic technical drawings.
• Follow up on booth setup to ensure alignment with approved design.

Design and develop event booths, roadshows, exhibitions and showroom & Shoplot

Develop creative booth concepts, layouts and visual designs according to client requirements.

Prepare 3D booth designs & 3D & Details Drawing -Showroom & Shoplot for client approval.

Prepare graphic artwork, backdrops, posters, wall graphics and promotional materials for event booths.

Coordinate with the Sales Team, Site Supervisor, Production Team and Installers to ensure the design can be properly executed.

Prepare artwork and design files according to production and printing requirements.

Revise designs based on client feedback and project requirements.

Ensure all designs are practical and suitable for fabrication, printing and on-site installation.

Conduct site visits and measurements when required.

Responsibility

• Diploma / Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, 3D Design, or related field
• Experience in Event Booth / Exhibition / Roadshow / Interior Design / Renovation
• Proficient in SketchUp, AutoCAD, 3D Max / Enscape / V-Ray or similar software
• Able to produce both 2D technical drawings and 3D visualisations
• Good understanding of construction, materials, fabrication and installation
• Able to communicate and coordinate with clients, sales team and site team
• Creative, responsible and able to work under deadlines
• Fresh graduates with strong portfolios are welcome to apply
