Job Summary

Assess the annual Return of Net Revenue (RONR) submissions and subsequent contributions to the USP Fund in accordance with regulations 29, 27 and other relevant regulations of the USP Regulations 2002, assist in awareness activities, system enhancement, maintenance and monitoring as well as identify and review for non-compliance matter and initiation of regulatory/civil action to ensure adherence and compliance to the USP Regulations and applicable accounting standards.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Process and verify licensees' RONR submissions to ensure accuracy and correctness per licensees' financial record and in accordance with the relevant USP Regulations.

2. Educate, guide and respond to any emails, calls and meeting request by licensees for their RONR submission process including the usage of e-Fund Management System (EFMS) to ensure adherence with stipulated requirements and in accordance with relevant USP Regulations.

3. Process the identification, assessment and issuance for determination of USP Fund contribution and its notices to the applicable licensees to ensure that all notifications issued in accordance with USP Regulations.

4. Assist to monitor payment transactions of contribution to the USP Fund as per stipulated requirement in its corresponding notice issued and ensure procedural actions are taken for any non-compliance in this matter.

5. Liaise with contributors on any issues related to payment on regular basis to ensure timely payment of outstanding USP Fund contributions.

6. Assist to screen and identify non-compliant licensees, prepare and review non-compliance of licensees for the submission of RONR and initiate the issuance of First Information Report (FIR) to Enforcement Division to ensure compliance to the relevant USP Regulations

7. Monitor for overall systems' ticket raised with the IT Helpdesk and the subsequent systems' vendor on any issues affecting present operational matter to ensure effective and efficient operation.

8. Assist to identify areas of improvement for overall system enhancement and monitor the implementation of new developments to ensure successful execution for effective and efficient operation.

9. Assist in the planning, coordination and execution of all awareness programs to ensure licensees' compliance to relevant USP Regulations.

10. Assist to identify areas for improvements in the present processes work-flow, regulations review and execute the implementation of any relevant regulations, procedures and guidelines updates to ensure effective and efficient work-flow and that adhere to the applicable standards and requirements.

11. Assist with request from the internal auditor, external auditor and/or other departments on any issues related to the RONRs, USP Fund contributions and/or account receivables matters to ensure matters are properly resolved as assigned.

Qualification & Work Experience

1. Bachelor's Degree of Accounting

2. Member of Malaysian Institute of Accountant (MIA)

3. At least 3 years working experience in accounts management. Work in audit would be advantageous.

4. Experience of working in a high volume, computerized environment and/or working with Oracle Financials or any other accounting system.

5. Exposure to reporting tools and wider business systems would be advantageous. Background in Legal / System Management would be advantageous.
