Job summary

RAPSYS TECHNOLOGIES PTE LTD in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Executive - Trainer (Japanese Bilingual) with strong experience in onboarding and upskilling for customer support teams. This role is based in the office and requires native Japanese fluency and business English.

You will design, deliver, and manage training programs, monitor trainee performance, and align delivery with KPIs while collaborating with Operations, QA, and HR to keep materials current.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of corporate training, L&D, or instructional coaching.
• Native Japanese fluency with professional business English.
• Strong presentation and classroom management skills.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End onboarding: Structure, deliver, and manage product, system, and process knowledge training for new customer support hires.
• Senior development &Upskilling: Design and conduct advanced upskill modules and refresher courses for senior staff to ensure optimal performance.
• Performance metrics & Coaching: Assess and monitor trainee scores during training phases, building customized performance enhancement strategies and feedback loops.
• Operational excellence: Track and align classroom training delivery directly with operational KPIs and strict quality assurance parameters.
• Cross-functional alignment: Partner with local and client Operations, QA, and HR to synchronize training materials with updates.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Onboarding: Structure, deliver, and manage product, system, and process knowledge training for new customer support hires.
• Senior Development & Upskilling: Design and conduct advanced upskill modules and refresher courses for senior staff to ensure optimal performance.
• Performance Metrics & Coaching: Assess and monitor trainee scores during training phases, building customized performance enhancement strategies and feedback loops.

• Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner seamlessly with local and client Operations, Quality Assurance (QA), and HR units to synchronize training materials with continuous updates.

Candidate Requirements

Language Proficiency (Non-Negotiable)

• Japanese: Native fluency required (essential for deep process compliance and native-level market delivery).
• English: Professional business-level proficiency (for internal management reporting and cross-functional team alignment).

Minimum Experience & Skills

• Tenure: 3+ years of dedicated professional experience in Corporate Training, Learning & Development (L&D), or instructional coaching.
• Tech Stack: Strong command over both Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and Google Workspace environments.
• Core Strengths: Outstanding presentation, classroom control, and performance-coaching capabilities.

Complementary Skills (Highly Advantageous)

• Formal certifications from recognized global L&D bodies or educational institutions.
• Deep understanding of adult learning principles and interactive training methodologies.
• Prior domain experience within a high-volume BPO or Contact Center setting.
