Role Purpose
To manage and administer the tooling and equipment for outright purchase/loan and ensure the tooling and equipment in control at the optimum level to support EMD operational requirement
Key Accountability
- To ensure availability and serviceability of aircraft ground equipment/hangar facilities item and aircraft tooling/test set and maintenance is done as scheduled to enable on time turnaround of hangar aircraft check.
- To monitor all work progress & material utilization in Support Services section at all times
- To undertake the necessary corrective and preventive action to ensure all equipment and facilities comply to the Authority requirements
- To ensure Hangar Ground Equipment, infrastructure facilities and vehicles are effectively and economically maintained.
- To action on audits and findings raised by authorities and internal stakeholders
Qualification & Experience
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with 3 years experience facilities management
- Good knowledge of civil and building management
Skills & Knowledge
- CAAM, EASA, CASA and any other relevant regulatory bodies requirements.
- Experience and having good knowledge on facilities management
- Posses an innovative thinking to lead and implement projects and execute plans timely
- Ensure all maintenance tasks carried out is in compliance with standard practices.
Key Challenges
- To ensure all equipment, tools, facilities and company vehicles are serviceable and safe for the daily operational requirements.
- Able to utilize strong administration and organizational skills under pressure despite manpower and spare shortages to deliver output.
