Job description

Executive, Supply Chain (Customs Clearance)

We are looking for a Supply Chain Executive - Customs Declaration to be based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The primary focus of this role is to work closely with customs and the warehouse team to ensure all declarations are accurately completed within the stipulated deadlines.

Responsibilities:

1. Generate Permission Request Slip (PRS) for import, export, transhipment, and local shipments delivered to or from the ZALORA warehouse for order fulfillment.
2. Generate Consolidated Statement (CS) based on the period stipulated by Royal Malaysian Customs & ensure timely submission.
3. Submit PRS to customs for endorsements before truck departures.
4. Collaborate with customs and warehouse teams to ensure accurate and timely customs declarations.
5. Tag each imported/exported item with PRS & CS generated in the warehouse system.
6. Ensure complete documentation for each shipment is properly stored electronically and physically.
7. Perform detailed checks to verify quantity, descriptions, and declared values are accurate.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Management, or related fields.
• Experience with customs clearance processes and requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Willing to work at Zalora Warehouse Shah Alam.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet strict deadlines, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable, proactive, and results-oriented.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
