Methodist College Kuala Lumpur is looking for a dynamic Student Recruiter/Education Counsellor with excellent communication skills and a drive to connect with prospective students. This position will be based at MCKL (Penang, Pykett Campus).

Job Responsibilities:

1. Drive student engagement and recruitment initiatives to achieve or exceed enrolment targets.
2. Establish and maintain strong relationships with student recruitment agents.
3. Build and sustain partnerships with high schools to enhance recruitment efforts.
4. Plan, conduct, and manage student recruitment events in Northern Region states to engage with prospective students and build brand awareness.
5. Provide programme counselling sessions to prospective students/parents.
6. Develop a good relationship between the college and potential students, parents, teachers, and other related parties.
7. Attend to all walk-in, email enquiries, and incoming calls related to enrolment and admissions matters.
8. Represent the college at recruitment events to attract prospective students and support the organisation of Open Days, Scholarship & Registration Weeks.
9. Perform the day-to-day administrative duties.

Job Requirements:

1. Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in relevant field.
2. Preferably with at least 2 years of prior experience in course counselling, sales, and marketing, as well as promotional activities in the education industry.
3. Good communication skills in Malay and English, both oral and written.
4. Proficiency in Chinese to communicate effectively with Chinese-speaking clients.
5. Ability to develop transferable skills such as communication, teamwork, organization, problem-solving, and time management.
6. Detail-oriented, meticulous, analytical, and well-organized with good planning skills.
7. Willing to travel.
