Role Purpose
Accountable for supporting and executing strategic and event planning by ensuring the plan aligns with business and Senior Management objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in identifying and evaluating potential partnership opportunities, conducting research and analysis to assess their alignment with company objectives.
- Collaborate with the team to develop partnership strategies and assist in negotiating agreements that benefit all parties involved.
- Support the team in maintaining regular communication with strategic partners, ensuring strong relationships are fostered.
- Contribute to the planning, organization, and execution of events, including conferences, trade shows, seminars, and networking events, to increase brand awareness and generate leads.
- Assist in managing event logistics, such as venue selection, budgeting, vendor coordination, and on-site support.
- Work closely with marketing and communications teams to develop event content, promotional materials, and marketing initiatives.
- Contribute to monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of partnerships and events, gathering data to measure ROI and provide insights for future decision-making.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify potential partnership and event opportunities.
- Collaborate with senior team members to support the overall strategic direction for the company's partnership and event initiatives.
- Assist and support the manager of existing partnerships and sponsorships to ensure they meet the organization's needs.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in related industry and event planning.
Area of Experience
- Proven experience in strategic partnership development and event planning.
- Knowledge of event planning and management best practices.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and event management software.
- Awareness of industry trends and a willingness to stay updated with market developments.
- Proficiency in ticketing and understanding ticketing jargon.
