A leading company in retail, MR DIY TRADING SDN BHD, is seeking a creative videographer/producer to develop, design, and execute captivating video content for social media platforms. The role requires a strong understanding of current digital media trends, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Candidates with a degree in Marketing or Communications, along with creativity and a results-driven mindset, are encouraged to apply.
Job Description:
1. Handling videography. Able to also do photography will be a plus.
2. Develop, design, plan and execute shoots and productions and edit social media assets for Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Tik Tok and other emerging social media channels.
3. Responsible for creative production to include short video formats as well as static image content.
4. To use rough sketches for planning and scheduling video production.
5. Convert static visual to multiple resolution video format.
6. Hold regular meetings with the team to discuss characters, products and scenes. Brainstorm with team on creative concepts and bring that vision to reality.
7. Provide guidance on characterization and the movements needed in each scene, plan the framing and composition of each scene, operate camera movement.
8. To create a 'rough cut' (or assembly edit) of the programme/film and determining the exact cutting for the next and final stages then reorder and tweak the content to ensure the logical sequencing and smooth running of the video.
9. Video production and editing including choosing and proposing music, sound effects, graphics or special effects needed to make the video more interesting.
10. Ideate and conceptualize social media video content for various different campaigns.
11. Ability to multitask and work on several projects simultaneously.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field / Fresh Graduate, 1 - 2 Years experience
2. Past experience in influencer marketing, KOL management, or publisher will be an added value.
3. Strong understanding of digital media platforms, social media trends, and content creation processes.
4. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
