Job summary

Allianz Malaysia invites you to join our product development team to drive end-to-end product initiatives across distribution channels.

You will manage timelines, coordinate UAT, draft UR, and liaise with stakeholders, reinsurers, and marketing to ensure timely delivery and compliance.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist in handling and facilitating all product development and implementation activities with relevant internal stakeholders.
• Support the management of product and project timelines, including planning and coordinating UAT with system owners.
• Prepare and submit user requirements for new products and monitor submissions to meet timelines.
• Oversee the implementation of relevant sales tools in line with new product developments.
• Assist in conceptualizing product designs by gathering inputs from distribution channels, reinsurers, and market research.
• Conduct market research to assess competitiveness of products, including campaigns.
• Liaise with reinsurers to finalize product ideas and requirements.
• Assist in preparing materials for product approval, drafting policy contracts, PDS/SI, and training materials.
• Conduct train-the-trainer sessions and support distribution training if required.
• Understand product designs and scope out changes needed for administration, coordinating with departments to identify gaps.
• Address customer and distribution force queries, complaints, and feedback.
• Handle ad-hoc assignments as required.

As part of the product development team, to actively supporting the development and implementation process of a product or initiative under different distribution channels to be in line with the Company’s overall product strategy.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Assist in handling and facilitating all product development and implementation activities with relevant internal stakeholders.
• Support the management of product and project timelines, including planning, arranging UAT (User Acceptance Testing) activities with system owners, preparing user requirements (UR), crafting test plans, and performing UAT.
• Prepare and submit user requirements for new products and monitor submissions from other team members to ensure adherence to agreed timelines.
• Oversee the implementation of relevant sales tools in line with new product developments.
• Assist in conceptualizing product designs by gathering ideas from distribution channels, reinsurers, and market research.
• Conduct regular market research and intelligence to assess the competitiveness of products, including product, marketing, and underwriting campaigns.
• Liaise with reinsurers to finalize product ideas and requirements.
• Assist in preparing materials for product approval, drafting policy contracts, PDS/SI, training materials, and reviewing marketing materials.
• Conduct train-the-trainer sessions and support, if required, distribution training sessions.
• Understand product designs and scope out potential changes or enhancements needed for product administration, involving relevant departments to identify gaps and solutions.
• Address customer and distribution force queries, complaints, and feedback.
• Handle all ad-hoc assignments as assigned by your superior.

Important to your success:

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science or equivalent.
