Job summary

A leading retail and hospitality company in Malaysia is seeking an Executive/Senior Executive for Human Resources on a 6-month contract. The role involves managing the recruitment process, partnering with hiring managers, and maintaining talent pipelines. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree in HR and 1-3 years of relevant experience, demonstrating strong communication and sourcing skills.

Qualifications

  • Familiar with employment laws and HR practices is an added advantage.

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment process including job posting and sourcing.

Executive/Senior Executive - Human Resource (Recruitment) - 6 months contract

Manage end-to-end recruitment process including job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection.

Partner with hiring managers to understand manpower needs and provide suitable recruitment solutions.

Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline through networking, job portals, career fairs, and partnerships with universities/colleges.

Manage relationships with recruitment agencies and other external partners.

Ensure timely onboarding and smooth transition for new hires.

Maintain recruitment reports, dashboards, and records for management review.

Support employer branding initiatives and staff engagement activities to attract and retain talent.

Assist in other HR-related tasks and projects as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.

At least 1–3 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, preferably in retail/property/hospitality industry.

Strong knowledge of sourcing techniques and recruitment best practices.

Good communication and interpersonal skills to engage with candidates and stakeholders.

Proactive, resourceful, and able to manage multiple roles simultaneously.

Familiar with employment laws and HR practices is an added advantage.

This role is a 6 months contract position.
