Job summary

Bridge Data Centres Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a Security Supervisor to assist the Security Manager in day-to-day operations, ensuring safety for employees, visitors, tenants, and assets. You will supervise the security team and service providers while monitoring CCTV, access control and alarms.

The role involves conducting risk assessments, coordinating incident responses, investigating reports, and ensuring compliance with Malaysian laws and company policies.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Management or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant security experience, preferably with supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Proficient in English (written and verbal).
• Good knowledge of Malaysian laws and regulations related to security and safety.
• Experience in incident management and emergency response.
• Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently, handle emergencies and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Security Manager in daily security operations and ensure safety of employees, visitors, tenants, property and assets.
• Supervise and monitor performance, discipline and conduct of the Security Team and service providers.
• Monitor and maintain security systems including CCTV, access control, alarms and related equipment.
• Conduct regular security inspections, patrols and risk assessments to address security risks.
• Coordinate responses to security incidents, emergencies and other critical situations per procedures.
• Investigate security incidents and prepare accurate reports and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company security policies, procedures, laws and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with internal departments, tenants, contractors and enforcement agencies on security matters.
• Assist in security drills, training, briefings and emergency preparedness activities.
• Maintain good relationships with tenants and stakeholders and ensure high security and customer service.
• Support continuous improvement of security processes, systems and standards.
• Perform ad hoc duties as assigned by the Security Manager or Company.

Job description

REQUIREMENTS

Proficient in English, both written and verbal.

Good knowledge of Malaysian laws and regulations related to security and safety.

Minimum Diploma in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Management or related discipline.

Minimum 5 years of relevant security experience, preferably with supervisory or team leadership experience.

Experience in physical security operations, incident management, emergency response and security systems.

Relevant security certifications or practising licences would be an added advantage.

Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

Able to work independently, handle emergencies and perform under pressure.

Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays when required.

High level of professionalism, accountability, integrity and attention to detail.
