Job summary

A leading marketing company is seeking a Sales Executive focused on General Trade for the East Coast region. The role involves generating sales, managing relationships with retailers, and executing promotional strategies. Candidates should possess at least SPM and 2 years of sales experience, preferably in FMCG. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to travel are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

  • Ability to converse in Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia, and English.

EXECUTIVE, SALES GENERAL TRADE (EAST COAST)

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Generating and developing sales to achieve assigned sales targets and monthly KPIs.
  2. Planning and executing promotions at outlets to meet trade excellence.
  3. Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including retailers and key wholesalers.
  4. Managing debtor collections and resolving long-standing outstanding payments where applicable.
  5. Opening new outlets and attending to sales inquiries.
  6. Developing and coaching team members.
  7. Performing other responsibilities as assigned by superiors and the company.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • Minimum qualification of SPM with 2 years of working experience in the sales industry; experience in FMCG industry is an advantage.
  • Strong skills in managing and influencing stakeholders effectively.
  • Willing to travel and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with the East Coast region is preferred.
  • Strong desire to deliver results, self-motivated, and goal-oriented.
  • Outgoing, enthusiastic, trustworthy, reliable, energetic, honest, and accountable.
  • A good team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to converse in Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia, English; knowledge of other dialects is an advantage.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Possess own transport.
