Establish maintenance and housekeeping objectives, goals, processes, and plans aligned with Distribution Centre (DC) strategic direction.
Advise management on compliance related to equipment maintenance and cleanliness of premises (MHE).
Plan and implement maintenance and housekeeping programs to support DC operations, requiring understanding of asset and maintenance principles.
Review, evaluate, recommend changes, and implement new ideas or programs for maintaining MHE, lighting, and equipment.
Apply analytical and problem-solving skills to improve maintenance operations.
Conduct and support maintenance breakdown investigations involving personnel, assets, and contractors.
Maintain records and analyze maintenance breakdown reports.
Implement and monitor regular maintenance checklists for equipment such as:
Complete breakdown investigations and resolve issues within 24 to 48 hours.
Conduct site surveys on breaches of maintenance and housekeeping procedures.
Monitor and evaluate unit performance in key service areas and recommend corrective actions.
Plan, develop, and implement maintenance and housekeeping programs.
Stay updated on industry trends, maintenance issues, and technologies.
Perform annual risk analysis on all MHE and workplace equipment.
Provide leadership, advice, and guidance to DC management on maintenance policies.
Identify risks and recommend corrective actions to address maintenance exposure.
Guide maintenance and housekeeping staff to achieve program goals.
Ensure daily staff compliance with safety SOPs.
Recommend security improvements where risks are identified.
Investigate incidents and complete reports.
Assist with JKKP and ISO audit documentation.
Plan annual MHE training programs.
Investigate transporter delivery issues.
Schedule security shifts and conduct surprise checks.
Ensure safety equipment is operational.
Brief new staff on DC rules.
Assist in fire training exercises and conduct weekly safety briefings.
Hold weekly safety meetings.
Education: Must possess at least Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM), STPM, Diploma, or Bachelor’s Degree.
Required skills:
Minimum 2 years of related experience.
Able to work on a 3-shift rotation, 6 days/week, including weekends and holidays.
Willing to work in Bandar Baru Salak Tinggi and in a warehouse environment.
Languages: Bahasa Malaysia and English.
Must be hardworking, committed, capable of smart working, and a team player.
Preferably specialized in Safety and Health, Maintenance, Security, Logistics, or related fields.
