Job summary

Malaysia Airports Berhad is seeking a Risk Management Analyst to assist risk identification, assessment, and reporting across MAHB’s 39 airports and divisions. The role focuses on providing data-driven insights to support informed business decisions and governance oversight.

You will prepare management papers, dashboards, and executive presentations, liaising with stakeholders to promote proactive risk management in line with ICAO and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Degree preferably with specialization in Risk Management/ Insurance/ Information Technology/ Computer Science/ Business Administration/ Accounting /Finance
• Minimum CGPA 3.0 and 1 year of relevant experience
• Open for Malaysian citizens only

Responsibilities

• Support risk identification, assessment, and management across MAHB’s 39 airports, departments, and units
• Assist updating risk management frameworks and regulatory documentation (ICAO, CAAM, ACI, SIRIM, ISO)
• Assist in drafting high-level papers and presentation materials for executive risk committees
• Provide logistical and content support for ERM awareness programs, meetings, training sessions, and workshops
• Manage routine ERM tasks to optimize department workflow
• Support other initiatives under Risk Management and Compliance Division

POSITION GENERAL SUMMARY

The position is responsible for providing risk analysis, management reporting, data-driven insights and risk advisory support to facilitate informed business decision-making. The role will engage with business and functional stakeholders to assess risks, monitor mitigation actions, identify emerging risk trends and promote a proactive risk management culture.

The position will also support the preparation of management papers, risk reports, dashboards and executive presentations, ensuring that complex risk information is translated into clear, concise and actionable insights for management and relevant governance committees.

ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS

• Support and coordinate risk identification, assessment, and management activities across MAHB’s 39 airports, departments, and business units.
• Assist the core team in updating risk management frameworks, formats and regulatory documentation in alignment with aviation and quality standards (ICAO, CAAM, ACI, SIRIM, ISO).
• Governance Report Drafting:
  • Assist in drafting, compiling, and preparing high-level papers and presentation materials for key executive risk committees, including the board committee.
• Provide logistical and content preparation support for ERM awareness programs,regular meetings, training sessions, seminars, and workshops across various divisions and subsidiaries.
• Manage routine and administrative ERM tasks to optimize department workflow and eliminate project bottlenecks.
• To support other initiatives under Risk Management and Compliance Division.

To get comprehensive participation and co-operation for the risk identification and assessment by related personnel.

To accurately assess and identify risk for the related airports, departments, units, projects, etc .

To ensure that the risk manager and risk coordinator properly monitor the action plan and signing off at the dateline
