Job summary

HRD Corp in Kuala Lumpur seeks a Risk Management professional to lead ERM integration and keep risk governance aligned with business objectives. Based in Damansara Heights, you will partner with functions to identify, assess, and mitigate risks across the organisation.

You will develop robust BCM plans, coordinate trainings, prepare reports for senior management, and review policies to ensure regulatory compliance. The role demands strong communication, integrity, and strategic thinking.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Law, Risk Management or related disciplines.
• 1–5 years of experience in enterprise risk management, BCM and governance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with diverse stakeholders.
• Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and strategic thinking.
• Willing to be based in the Damansara Heights area.

What We’re Looking For

Implementation and management of the organisation's risk management framework. This role involves assisting in systematic identification, assessment, and mitigation of risks across all business functions. The role includes helping to develop and enforce risk management policies, procedures, and tools to facilitate effective risk identification and response strategies.

Your Role and Impact

Integrate Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) into the organisational strategy and business planning processes, establishing frameworks that align with the organisation’s objectives and risk appetite.

Ensure that risk management activities are coordinated and integrated across all business units and functions. Promote a holistic approach to risk management, considering both internal and external factors that could impact the organisation.

2. Business Continuity Management (BCM)

Develop comprehensive Business Continuity Management (BCM) plans to ensure the organisation can effectively respond to and recover from emergencies or crises.

Ensure alignment of BCM plans with regulatory requirements and industry best practices to mitigate the impact of disruptions. Recommend and implement updates and revisions to BCM plans as necessary to enhance their effectiveness and ensure continuous improvement.

3. Reporting and Documentation

Develop and maintain comprehensive risk management reports and documentation, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of risk management activities to senior management and relevant stakeholders. Document risk assessment processes, findings, and mitigation strategies.

Maintain records of training sessions, workshops, and risk awareness initiatives. Ensure all documentation is up-to-date, easily accessible, and aligned with organisational standards and regulatory requirements. Facilitate internal and external audits related to risk management processes.

4. Risk Assessment and Mitigation

Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify and analyse current and potential risks affecting the organisation.

Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to maintain risks at acceptable levels, and support the development of response strategies to address identified risks during crises or adverse events.

5. Policy and Plan Review

Regularly review and evaluate the organisation's risk management policies, procedures, and Business Continuity Management (BCM) plans.

Ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices to effectively mitigate the impact of emergencies or crises. Recommend updates and revisions as necessary to enhance risk management effectiveness.

Professional Qualifications and Experience

Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Law, Risk Management or other related disciplines.

1–5 years of experiences in enterprise risk management, business continuity management and corporate governance or any related fields.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and strategic thinking.

Willing to be based in the Damansara Heights area.
