Responsible to facilitate and execute the operation of Regulatory & Compliance Unit (RCU) to ensure all activities related to enforcement, compliance, complaint handling and regulatory functionsІІ of MCMC including ad hoc tasks are well managed and complied with all the SOP and regulations.
Job Responsibilities
- Issue First Information Report (FIR) on breaches of CMA 1998, PSA 1992 and DSA 1997 as per the relevant laws and regulations under MCMC.
- Address all complaints including critical complaint, appeal complaint and walk-in complaint to ensure complaint are resolved within the stipulated time.
- Handle and manage interaction between the complaints, public, CRP Portal and CFM to ensure all complaints received are resolved in a timely manner.
- Responsible for the preparation of reports, media statements, and drafting of parliamentary responses, with a focus on complaint-related issues.
- Implement compliance activities liaise with department SMD, TSD, CPRD, QMOD, and NSOD in order to strengthening compliance to AKM 1998.
- Involve in collaboration between MCMC and PDRM for the vandalism awareness program related to communication equipment and playing a role as a technical agency in any collaboration programs.
- Acts as the designated technical agency within the CGSO Committee, responsible for providing expert evaluations and recommendations concerning the security standards of designated critical areas.
- Flexibility to coordinate any additional tasks officially assigned by the supervisor or director, as a contribution to the support of the commission's goal.
- Provide regular update and report to HQ and stakeholder in the State in order to ensure all relevant parties are updated and the data is ever ready when needed.
- Plan dan implement Courtesy Visit, programs, and meeting related to RCU
Qualifications & Work Experience
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in any disciplines from a recognized university with minimum CGPA of 3.00.
- Minimum of 1 or 3 years experience in a similar environment.
- Policy Development
- Sound understanding of the regulatory framework under the CMA'98 and its related legislations.
- Good grasp of new developments that impact the communications and multimedia industry from an economic, social, technical and consumer protection perspective.
- Project Management
- Sound understanding of project management elements - including resources, risks management and problem.
- Diversify and flexibility to adapt and adopt changes and requirements of each management levels.
- Attention details, sound reporting and writing capabilities, provide critiques for continuous improvement.
