Flex Fleet Sdn Bhd is a Kuala Lumpur-based manager of offshore “FLEX” crewboats, designed and built by Penguin Shipyard International in Singapore.

Our crewboats are well-maintained and professionally manned. We prioritize safety over profit and regard our employees as our key asset.

Operating a fleet of high-performance vessels requires a dedicated team of ship management professionals with specialized skills.

We are seeking suitable candidates to join us as:

EXECUTIVE, PURCHASING

Reporting to the Technical Manager, you will be an integral part of Flex Fleet’s ship management team in Kuala Lumpur, managing a fleet of modern high-speed crew boats. Your key responsibilities include:

1. Reporting directly to the Technical Manager on purchasing matters.
2. Purchasing ship spares for vessels locally and overseas after approval.
3. Scheduling shipping of spares and equipment to vessels.
4. Issuing POs to vendors, repair contractors, and service companies.
5. Supporting technical and operations departments with material movement, coordination, mobilization of equipment, and vessel clearance/movement liaising with clients and overseas shipping agents.
6. Participating in all HSE matters in line with the company's HSE policy.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Good command of English (spoken and written), effective communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Proactive attitude, teamwork, integrity, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Resourceful, self-driven, independent, with strong professional ethics and responsibility.
