Job summary

Vantris Energy Berhad in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a highly analytical Risk Engineer to support tendering and project execution through risk assessments, risk registers, and mitigation tracking. You will work with project teams to identify risks and opportunities, facilitate workshops, and help develop and implement Risk Management Plans in line with established PM procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct risk assessments during tender and project execution phases, including quantitative risk analysis where required.
• Facilitate risk workshops with stakeholders to identify, assess, and prioritize project risks and opportunities.
• Maintain and monitor project risk registers, ensuring risks are regularly reviewed and mitigation actions are effectively implemented.
• Coordinate periodic project risk reviews and engage risk owners to ensure timely updates and reporting.
• Support project teams in developing and implementing Risk Management Plans (RMP).
• Monitor the effectiveness of risk mitigation controls and recommend improvements where necessary.
• Provide risk management support and guidance to project stakeholders in accordance with established project management procedures.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of project risk management practices and tools.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly analytical and proactive Risk Engineer to support project risk management activities across the tendering and project execution lifecycle. Experience

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry, particularly in EPCIC, Offshore EPCI, T&I, or project delivery environments.
• Prior experience in project risk management or project controls will be an added advantage.
