Executive - Project (Property Development)

The primary purpose of this position is to provide management and technical services throughout the entire project development lifecycle, including other tasks deemed suitable by management and aligned with the company's strategies.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Project Manager in daily project operations.
  • Prepare minutes of meetings chaired by the Project Manager and ensure timely circulation.
  • Review consultants’ drawings to identify discrepancies and design issues.
  • Assist in preparing reports, letters, and submission documents for relevant authorities.
  • Liaise with authorities for timely feedback on approvals.
  • Coordinate with consultants to ensure timely deliverables.
  • Provide technical support to other departments, including marketing and sales, and facilitate project handovers.
  • Conduct market research and assist in feasibility analysis.
  • Monitor and update development programs, cash flow, and budgets.
  • Perform value engineering analyses and cost studies.
  • Ensure compliance with SOP/MAL of the company.
  • Represent the Project Manager in daily operations with COO approval.
  • Contribute to project inception, feasibility studies, and business development.
  • Monitor design development to meet client needs within budget.
  • Assist in preparing approval documents.
  • Review project drawings to control costs and prevent variation orders.
  • Ensure quality standards and monitor contractor progress and defect rectification.
  • Liaise with contractors and consultants to ensure work compliance.
  • Monitor the performance of consultants and contractors.
  • Prepare and verify progress payments.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by superiors.
Job Requirements:
  • Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Building, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or equivalent.
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience, preferably with property developers or consultancy firms, with exposure to high-rise and mixed-use developments.
  • Strong project implementation skills and ability to meet milestones.
  • Good understanding of design, C&S, M&E, and cost management.
  • Proficient in project management software like Microsoft Project or Primavera, and MS Office, Sketchup.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Good interpersonal skills and team-oriented mindset.
