Job summary

Senibong Cove Development is seeking an Executive, Project (M&E) to assist in managing all phases of development projects. Candidates should possess a degree in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering and at least 3 years of relevant experience. Job description

EXECUTIVE, PROJECT (M&E - Property Developer)

To assist the Project Manager in managing all phases of development projects including feasibility studies, authority liaison, consultant and contractor coordination.

Review design drawings, BQ, and specifications to ensure feasibility, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with authorities’ requirements.

Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and local authorities for approvals and resolve issues arising at project sites.

Monitor site progress and ensure construction follows approved plans and project milestones as per Sales & Purchase Agreements.

Support project planning, design, execution, and post-completion tasks to meet company standards in terms of time, cost, and quality.

Support the M&E Manager in coordinating the installation and integration of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems with the construction team and subcontractors.

Oversee M&E system installations, ensuring compliance with project specifications, local regulations, and safety standards.

Supervise testing and commissioning of M&E systems to verify performance and adherence to operational requirements.

Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Conduct routine site inspections to assess installation quality and promptly address any issues or deviations.

Assist in the planning, coordination, and supervision of M&E works on construction sites.

Review M&E drawings, specifications, and technical submissions to ensure compliance with project and regulatory requirements.

Monitor site progress and ensure M&E works are executed according to schedule, safety standards, and quality expectations.

Conduct site inspections, testing, and commissioning of mechanical and electrical systems.

Prepare and maintain proper documentation, including site reports, inspection checklists, and progress updates.

Ensure adherence to local codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.

Job Requirements:

Possessing Diploma or Degree in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering(or equivalent).

At least 3 years of working experience in construction high-rise apartments, commercial buildings and mixed development projects in construction industries

Strong-motivated with strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with all teams and levels and excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Other languages are highly advantageous (written and spoken)

Strong understanding of building drawings, especially BIM and IBS and specifications

Strong analytical and detail-oriented skills are critical, along with exceptional time management.

Ability to identify and manage risks and opportunities on construction projects

Ability to manage project budgets and create and schedule a project

Pleasant personality, good working attitude and a problem solver

Able to handle multiple demands, well organized, detail-oriented and meets deadlines

Able to work with minimum supervision
