Job description

Role Purpose

Manage, monitor, and control e-enabled aircraft data to ensure operational compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Ensure quality and secure data distribution in compliance with policies and data security standards. Verify the operational status of Electronic Flight Bags (EFB) against regulatory specifications. Support platform administration in line with Airbus recommendations for new aircraft technology.
  2. Manage and monitor EFB status and readiness, ensuring compliance with CAAM Civil Aviation Directive (CAD) procedures for managing EFB devices and data.
  3. Plan and deliver training to support staff, enhancing skills and knowledge aligned with company digitalization initiatives related to cockpit technology. Become an approved trainer for eOperations.
  4. Provide first-level technical support for EFB-related issues, liaising with IT, Engineering Technical Services, and Line Maintenance for eOPS support. Manage manpower and resources for operations.
  5. Participate in departmental projects and enhancement programs in line with the Annual Business Plan (ABP). Involved in contract renewals, budget planning, and procurement related to EFB software, support, and device upgrades.
Qualifications and Experience
  1. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology with 0-3 years’ experience or Diploma in Information Technology with 4 years’ experience in aviation documentation and IT skills.
  2. Certificate in Aviation Management with 0-2 years’ experience.
Personality Traits
  • Understanding of data security standards and IT policies.
  • Knowledge of EFB management systems.
  • Familiarity with aircraft monitoring systems and liaison procedures.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements for e-enabled aircraft operations.

Challenges include rapid technological changes, developing qualified personnel for specific tasks, and multitasking to support operations and departmental functions.
