As the principal investment arm of the State, MBINS plays a pivotal role in facilitating public-private partnerships, optimizing state-owned assets, and executing catalytic development projects aligned with Negeri Sembilan’s long-term socioeconomic agenda.

Its functions also include strategic land development, industrial expansion, and integrated urban planning — all aimed at enhancing the overall wellbeing of the people of Negeri Sembilan.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Seremban for the role of Executive – Land and Property Management. The Executive will be responsible for the comprehensive management and optimisation of the Corporation’s land and property assets. This includes handling property acquisitions and disposals, managing leases, overseeing land development initiatives, and ensuring compliance with relevant legal and regulatory frameworks.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating and executing property transactions, lease negotiations, and asset documentation.
  • Conducting land due diligence, title verifications, and property inspections.
  • Supporting land acquisition processes in accordance with state and federal regulations.
  • Preparing and presenting monthly reports on land and property activities, including status updates, financial summaries, and compliance matters.
  • Ensuring effective maintenance and utilisation of property assets.
  • Engaging with tenants, local authorities, legal advisors, and other key stakeholders.
  • Providing strategic input on property development and land use planning.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Property Management, Land Administration, Urban Planning, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in land and property management, including exposure to land acquisition procedures.
  • Strong understanding of Malaysian land laws, regulations, and statutory processes.
  • Proficiency in preparing monthly management reports, tracking asset performance and compliance.
  • Experience in property transactions, leasing, and regulatory matters.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to legal and technical detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple land/property portfolios effectively.
