The IT Executive will be responsible for the daily operational support of IT systems and infrastructure within the IGB Group of Companies. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment. The IT Executive will ensure the smooth and efficient operation of IT services, provide technical assistance to users, and contribute to the implementation of new IT initiatives.

Job Responsibilities

Provide technical support to end-users for hardware, software and network related issues.

Manage, maintain, monitor and perform troubleshooting for computers, servers, network infrastructure (LAN/WAN/WIFI/VPN).

Manage user accounts, permissions and access controls in accordance with company policies.

Perform system checks, backups, restoration and testing to ensure business continuity.

Respond to and resolve IT support tickets in a timely and efficient manner.

Assist in enforcing IT security policies and procedures.

Maintain and update inventory for IT assets, including hardware, software licenses and disposal.

Assist in planning, implementation and completion of IT related projects.

Assist in liaising with IT vendors for support, procurement and service related issues.

Stay updated with the latest IT trends, technologies, and best practices.

Job Requirements

Possess Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field. Fresh graduates or 1-2 years experience.

Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a fast paced environment.

Strong problem solving and analytical skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.

Basic knowledge of Windows/Linux operating systems, networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Wi-Fi).

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Proactive and eager to learn new technologies.

Experience with Google Workspace, Gemini AI and Microsoft Office is an advantage.

Certification in CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar is an advantage.

Exposure to FTTH (Fiber to the Home) or fiber connectivity is an advantage.

Able to standby/on-site during off-office hours including weekends and public holidays if required. Possess own transport and willing to travel.
