POSITION GENERAL SUMMARY

• Liaises between the business and IT Communities.
• Represent as IT internal consultant to internal business client to set appropriate expectations.
• Facilitate business requirement between business and technology
• Ensure the smooth adoption of new technologies by business users
• Analyze users expectations or requirement towards business plan

ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS

• Propose for a prioritization scheme for the business objectives that quantifies the business requirements
• Respond to business requirements in alignment with the business strategy
• Analyzing expectations from IT initiatives such as project status, issue and resolution based on individual project management updates
• Consult MAHB’s Business Units in planning and deployment of ICT solutions or infrastructure
• Estimate initial project cost and Cost Benefit Analysis with the input from Solution Architect
• IT service provider/IT operation do not understands the changing needs requested by the business unit.
• Recurring problems not addressed.
• IT not aligned with the business IT value management lacking the support and commitment of senior management.
• Undefined or confusing accountability and responsibility.
• Inadequate user satisfaction level with IT product and services.
• Lack of IT literacy among the business user.
• Lack of common understanding of business and IT priorities, leading to conflicts about allocation of resources and priorities.
• Un-planned IT initiatives.
