This position is responsible to support all HR matters to ensure the business operates smoothly and work towards improving employer-employee relationships. This position will be the focal point for the portfolio/Business Unit assigned, partner with the Business to understand how the business works and what it needs to achieve its financial & operations goals through the people.

Job Responsibilities:

Keep abreast with market trends and review compensation and benefits to ensure market competitiveness.

Monthly consolidation and verification of overtime submission prior to submission to Group Payroll, where applicable.

Organizational Change & Development

Work closely with the management and employees to understand their needs and provide value added advise and support for their department i.e improve utilization of HR systems, onboarding experiences, work relationships (employee engagement), build morale and increase productivity and retention.

Propose new approaches, policies and procedures to continually improve efficiency of the department and uphold HR best practices.

Performance Management

Guide employees and managers to have effective performance conversations and utilize the performance management system.

Monitor quarterly performance progress for all employees and guide new employees on their confirmation procedure.

Assist in the whole performance management cycle (performance calibration, performance chat).

Contribute creative ideas to help employee understands the importance of performance management, how to utilize the performance management system so it will not be seen as just a yearly tool (educational videos, process enhancement).

Learning and Development

Identify and assess the training needs through assessing employees’ skills, performance, productivity and consultation with managers.

Source for suitable training programs, deliver training and track training effectiveness.

Talent Management & Succession Planning

Assist in assessing and identifying key talent in the company to boost the company’s bench strength and retention strategies

Others:

Assist in HR projects and initiatives in-line with Group HR’s objectives and direction.

Application of work permits/ employment pass when required.

To undertake any ad-hoc tasks/projects pertaining to Human Resources and Administrative duties as and when required.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor Degree in Human Resources, Management, Psychology or any related discipline.

At least 2 years of working experience in HR field.

Strong interpersonal skills to work with all levels, from business leaders to non-executives.

High level of confidentiality, professionalism with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
