Overview
- Hong Leong Investment Bank – Damansara, Selangor
- Develop compensation and benefits (C&B) philosophy and framework that are aligned with the organizational strategies and business goals.
- Ensure that the C&B practices are in compliance with regulatory requirements e.g. pay equity, human rights.
- Coordinate C&B processes such as bonus, increment and promotion exercise planning and implementation.
- Produce data based recommendations on direct financial, indirect financial and non-financial compensations via different methods.
- Analyze different C&B components in the organization and prepare reports about the internal equity and external competitiveness.
- Act as the first point of contact on C&B queries such as providing consultation to line managers on C&B concepts and advisory to management in taking difficult C&B decisions.
- Perform job analysis, job evaluations and job classifications.
- Liaise with the external compensation consulting company and participate in salary and labour market surveys to determine prevailing pay rates and benefits.
- Conduct ongoing research into emerging trends, issues and best C&B practices in the industry.
- Assist in benefits administration such as subsidy application and processing.
- Assist in HR reporting to Group, Senior Management, regulators bodies i.e Security Commissions, Bursa Malaysia, Bank Negara Malaysia and ensure all information submitted are accurate and up-to-date.
Job Requirements
- Possess Bachelor Degree in Human Resources Development/ Management, Business Studies or any related discipline.
- 1 year of experience in Human Resources, preferably in Compensation & Benefits (C&B) function.
- Fresh graduates with keen interest and relevant internship experience are encouraged to apply.
- Knowledge of HR practices and prior experience in compensation cycle management.
- Prior experience in banking related sectors would be an added advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
