Job summary

Job description
Overview
  • Hong Leong Investment Bank – Damansara, Selangor
  • Develop compensation and benefits (C&B) philosophy and framework that are aligned with the organizational strategies and business goals.
  • Ensure that the C&B practices are in compliance with regulatory requirements e.g. pay equity, human rights.
  • Coordinate C&B processes such as bonus, increment and promotion exercise planning and implementation.
  • Produce data based recommendations on direct financial, indirect financial and non-financial compensations via different methods.
  • Analyze different C&B components in the organization and prepare reports about the internal equity and external competitiveness.
  • Act as the first point of contact on C&B queries such as providing consultation to line managers on C&B concepts and advisory to management in taking difficult C&B decisions.
  • Perform job analysis, job evaluations and job classifications.
  • Liaise with the external compensation consulting company and participate in salary and labour market surveys to determine prevailing pay rates and benefits.
  • Conduct ongoing research into emerging trends, issues and best C&B practices in the industry.
  • Assist in benefits administration such as subsidy application and processing.
  • Assist in HR reporting to Group, Senior Management, regulators bodies i.e Security Commissions, Bursa Malaysia, Bank Negara Malaysia and ensure all information submitted are accurate and up-to-date.
Job Requirements
  • Possess Bachelor Degree in Human Resources Development/ Management, Business Studies or any related discipline.
  • 1 year of experience in Human Resources, preferably in Compensation & Benefits (C&B) function.
  • Fresh graduates with keen interest and relevant internship experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Knowledge of HR practices and prior experience in compensation cycle management.
  • Prior experience in banking related sectors would be an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Good command of written and spoken English.
