Job Purpose
Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the confidential employee rewards plan, while contributing to the broader Compensation & Benefits (C&B) function. This role requires strong attention to detail and a basic understanding of compliance, regulatory considerations, and benefits operations.
Employee Rewards Plan Administration
- Ensure smooth operations of the day-to-day administration of the employee rewards plan.
- Monitor and manage the submission process for plan applications, ensuring timely and accurate handling in line with internal and regulatory timelines.
- Manage a dedicated communication channel for the plan, reviewing incoming documentation for completeness and compliance with internal requirements.
- Liaise with external service providers to ensure accurate and timely processing of transactions.
- Prepare and maintain structured records, reports, and documentation related to the rewards plan activities.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Work closely with internal stakeholders, particularly the Finance and Payroll teams, to coordinate plan-related submissions and reporting.
Compensation & Benefits Support
- Support the implementation of the employee benefits program, including supporting the process of obtaining Certificates of Accommodation within the Healthcare Group.
- Assist in managing the annual performance appraisal cycle, including timeline coordination, system support, etc.
- Prepare relevant C&B reports and data analytics to support internal reviews and decision-making
Compliance and Governance
- Ensure compliance with the Employment Act, internal C&B policies, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
- Understand regulatory, tax, and statutory considerations that may impact the administration of compensation and benefit-related processes.
- Ensure records and documentation are handled with a high degree of confidentiality and audit-readiness.
Data and Process Improvement
- Identify and suggest opportunities to improve administrative workflows and support the implementation of process automation where appropriate.
- Support the compilation and analysis of market data for benchmarking purposes.
Who are we looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics.
- Minimum of 2-3 years working experience in Human Resources or Compensation and Benefits-related roles.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel: Comfortable with data entry, applying formulas, and report generation.
- Required Knowledge: Employment Act 1955 and Compensation & Benefits principles.
- Document and Records Management: Skilled at organizing, maintaining confidential documents, capable of handling a large volume of records.
- Attention to detail: Ability to spot inconsistencies, errors, or missing information.
- Organisation Skills: Capable of managing multiple submissions and deadlines.
- Communication Skills: Clear, professional communication, both written and verbal.
- Problem-Solving Mindset: Proactively identifies issues or inefficiencies and suggests improvements.
