This role focuses primarily on Learning & Development, ensuring workforce skills enhancement and general HR responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in HR and 1-3 years of related experience, strong communication, and problem-solving skills.

The Executive, Human Resources supports Learning & Development (70%), involving the design, coordination, and delivery of training programs to enhance workforce capabilities. The position supports organizational growth through skills development, onboarding, and continuous learning initiatives. In addition, the role includes general HR responsibilities (30%), such as maintaining employee records, supporting recruitment efforts, assisting with policy implementation, and contributing to employee engagement activities. This dual focus ensures alignment of HR strategies with operational needs while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Learning & Development (70%)
Conduct training needs analysis and coordinate with departments to identify skill gaps.
Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness and implement improvements where necessary.
Coordinate onboarding programs and orientation sessions for new hires.
Maintain training records and ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational requirements.
Work closely with department heads to support succession planning and career development initiatives.
Work with internal departments and external vendors to schedule and deliver training sessions.
Maintain and update training records, reports, and databases.
Support the development of training materials, manuals, and content.
Coordinate and administer learning programs, workshops, seminars, graduate program, industrial visit and e-learning initiatives.
Ensure all learning initiatives comply with company policies and relevant industry standards.
Manage logistics for training events, including venue booking, equipment setup, and participant communication.
Contribute to the implementation of onboarding and orientation programs for new hires.
General HR Functions (30%)
Support recruitment and selection processes as needed.
Assist with HR policy implementation and ensure adherence to company procedures.
Maintain and update employee records and HR documentation
Provide day-to-day HR support and address employee inquiries
Participate in employee engagement and welfare activities
Assist the IR/ER Executive for Union Negotiation/ matters
Support in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of employee onboarding and offboarding programs. This includes and not limited to, the issuing of new joiner welcome kit, new joiner briefing and exit interview
Assist HR Team to prepare the slide pack for Board and Leadership Team Meeting
Any report other report as and when required
Provide support on HR Project
Assist with the HRMIS system transition
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or related fields such as Business Administration, Social Sciences, or Psychology
1 to 3 years of experience as an HR professional, particularly in Learning and Development
Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and HRIS
Able to work independently, take initiative, and provide insights and recommendations for improvement
Strong team player with good collaboration skills
High attention to detail and accuracy in work
Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
