Job description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Executive Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping team and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and guest satisfaction.

As the head of the department, you will oversee all housekeeping operations, manage staff, control inventory, and ensure that all guest rooms and public areas are maintained to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage the housekeeping department, including room attendants, public area cleaners, and laundry staff.
• Ensure daily cleaning operations are completed efficiently and in accordance with brand standards.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas for cleanliness and maintenance.
• Manage staff scheduling, training, performance reviews, and development.
• Maintain proper inventory of cleaning supplies, linen, and guest amenities; monitor usage and control costs.
• Coordinate with the front office and maintenance departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
• Implement and enforce safety and hygiene procedures in line with health regulations.
• Handle guest feedback or complaints related to housekeeping with professionalism and prompt resolution.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in housekeeping, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and a passion for cleanliness and order.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and chemical handling.
• Ability to lead a multicultural team with professionalism and empathy.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
