Job description

Position Responsibilities

• Maintain monthly profit and loss statement and balance sheet schedule
• Manage daily accounting operations and documentation for AR & GL function.
• Ensure timely collection from customers
• Identify revenue to be recognized and post necessary journal/reclassification.
• Perform retail and online sales reconciliation
• Monthly sales report preparation and declaration to stakeholders
• Liaise with internal & external stakeholders pertaining to audit & tax matters.
• Support queries from DM on Outlet P&L.
• Assist in compiling financial related information for corporate exercise.
• Assist in any other ad hoc tasks given
• Ensure proper compliance with local accounting and auditing standards.

Qualification And Experiences

• Must possess at least a bachelor’s degree in accounting or degree equivalent in professional certificates, such as ACCA/LCCI.
• Candidates with 1-3 years of experience in AR/GL (any related fields) are required
• Experience in the Retail or FMCG field is preferred, but other fields are also considered.
• Required general knowledge of accounting/ financial/operational principles.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel.
• Comfortable using computers, with experience in business solution & accounting software.
