The Financial Services Department at Sunway Education Group welcomes interested candidates to submit their resume for the above stated vacancy with the following job specifications:

Responsibilities:

Ensure accurate and timely data entries, including journal entries in the financial system.

Support month-end closing processes and assist in the preparation of management reports and financial analysis.

Maintain and update the fixed asset register, including asset acquisitions, transfers, disposals, and depreciation schedules.

Ensure proper accounting for all asset transactions, including asset tracking, capitalization, and depreciation.

Identify and propose improvements in daily operations to enhance team efficiency and workflow.

Liaise with auditors, internal departments, and external stakeholders when necessary.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accountancy, or related professional qualifications.

Minimum 1 to 2 years of relevant working experience, preferably with experience in auditing.

Familiarity with ACCPAC accounting software is an added advantage.

Proficient in computerized accounting systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Strong technical knowledge, analytical skills, and attention to detail.

Self-motivated, team-oriented, and capable of working independently.

Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of staff.
