This contract role will prepare, validate, and analyze all IBO (agents) matters, accounts receivables, accounts payables, and general ledger transactions in the system. This includes resolving discrepancies and invalid payments, involving liaising with internal and external parties such as customer service, bankers, payment gateway, tax agents, auditors, and other stakeholders.

The role requires executing the following tasks and initiatives:

a) IBO Matter and Accounts Receivable

• Ensure IBO transactions are processed timely and accurately within the specified deadlines.
• Ensure proper monthly submissions to tax authorities for withholding tax on IBO income.
• Ensure invoicing for goods or payments on behalf of related companies is done timely and accurately.
• Ensure all collections are properly managed from IBOs, BCKP, or related companies.
• Ensure integration of sales between MLM and accounting systems is completed.
• Perform reconciliations such as merchant reconciliation, PRV reconciliation, and E-wallet reconciliations.

b) Accounts Payable

• Process payments timely and accurately within deadlines.
• Submit relevant payments to tax authorities for withholding tax.
• Complete vendor reconciliations promptly and accurately.
• Prepare cash flow projections.
• Prepare monthly accounts, including reconciliations and balance sheet schedules, based on cutoff dates.
• Ensure accurate and timely reconciliations and analysis of related accounts.
• Account for provisions, accruals, and prepayments properly.
• Maintain fixed assets accurately, ensuring proper posting and depreciation policies.
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax agents for compliance.
• Develop and enhance internal financial reporting and control processes, including policies and procedures.
• Ensure timely submission of taxes such as GST.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end journal entries.

Qualifications and skills required:

• Degree, Diploma, LCCI, or equivalent in accounting.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience.
• Good knowledge of payable and receivable functions, inventory, and other accounting areas is advantageous.
• Team player capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail, data entry accuracy, and basic math skills.

We offer a 6-month contract role.
