Responsibilities
- To support the business in planning the new facility setup or expansion project within the agreed completion lead-time with customer.
- To lead and organize contractors coordination meeting prior to the kick off of any facility new setup/ expansion to ensure smooth flow of facility setup project.
- To support the business by assessing the risk level of new project setup/ expansion project using Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA) during the project planning stage so as to minimize the risk level on the implementation stage.
- To support the business in maintaining the well being of facility and ensure zero downtime of facility & equipment operations.
- To work closely with the Subject Matter Experts for smooth flow of new facility setup based on the program schedule.
- To maintain close contact with the department heads and the staff to anticipate potential problems to meet the requests of customers and be pro-active to any changes to suit customers demand by identifying appropriate preventive and corrective actions.
- To work with the facility contractors to ensure works carried out meet company’s expectation.
- To work with respective department heads to understand the hazards or aspects associated with the operations and take the necessary actions for continuous improvement.
- To facilitate the external risk assessor audit on the facility and take immediate actions on the area of improvement recommended.
- To ensure that the overall facility available in the company is well maintained.
- To ensure that the operations equipment service maintenance and calibration are well planned and executed within the stipulated timeline.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and/or Facilities Management
- Minimum 3 years in Facility functions or equivalent with proven track record.
- Must be based in Port Klang and willing to travel where needed
