Overview
This position will be based in our Credit Control Department, part of the credit control team.
Job Responsibilities
- Handle and administer accounts receivable for self-pay accounts to avoid possible bad debts and ensure collections are up-to-date.
- Monitor ageing, issue reminder letters and liaise with clients to ensure payment is received within credit terms.
- Generate the Statement of Account (SOA) and email to clients early each month and assist in account reconciliation.
- Produce up-to-date reports on collection efforts and present to management with analysis and suggestions on next course of action.
- Determine and evaluate potential uncollectible, slow payer or difficult cases by providing updates to relevant parties.
- Provide feedback to enquiries raised by clients, investigate and revert to insurance/TPA/MCO companies on their queries, and prepare breakdown charges and procedure codes related to hospital and consultants.
- Attend to enquiries, provide good customer service and ensure an effective collection process in a professional manner.
- Understand clients\' situations and provide financial advice accordingly whenever required.
- Assist in ad-hoc tasks/projects as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Accountancy/Finance/Business Administration, LCCI qualification or any related discipline.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience, preferably from credit control.
- Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply!
- Skills: Negotiation, analytical, interpersonal, problem solving, listening & communication.
- A team player and able to work independently.
- Candidate must be able to work on Saturdays (half day) during probation.
