Your new role as the Corporate Finance and Investor Relations Executive offers strong exposure to various functions within finance, including financial planning, reporting, compliance, and strategic analysis, providing you with a well-rounded experience.
This is a dual role, supporting strategic financial planning and fostering transparent communication with the investment community. The incumbent will be exposed to corporate and capital market activities, financial modelling, and investor relations initiatives. This position is critical to shaping the company’s financial narrative and supporting capital-raising and business expansion strategies.
Investor Relations:
Collaborate with internal teams (finance, legal, strategy, communications) to ensure consistent and compliant messaging.
Prepare investor materials including presentations, reports, fact sheets, and Q&A documents.
Assist in organising and coordinating investor meetings, roadshows and annual general meetings (AGMs)
Monitor analyst reports, share price movements, and market trends affecting investor perception.
Maintain the investor relations database and track shareholder feedback and enquiries.
Communicate with local and foreign financial/investment community on corporate developments and quarterly /yearly financial performances.
Assist in administrating banking facilities and bank accounts operations
Monitor and assist in managing short-term, medium-term and long-term liquidity to ensure sufficient funds are available for working capital needs and investment of funds.
Support business and bidding process and documentation
Liaise with banks, rating agencies, and financial institutions to support financing activities. Support internal and external audits and respond to corporate finance-related queries.
What you'll need to succeed
Bachelor’s degree in Finance / Economics / Accounting (professional certification like ACCA, CFA, or CPA is a plus).
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a corporate finance, investment banking, or investor relations role. Background in Audit is a plus.
Proficiency in financial databases (e.g. Bloomberg) and Microsoft Office tools such as Power BI, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Willingness to be exposed to financial modelling, valuation, and analytical skills.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
High attention to detail with the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
Understanding of capital markets, financial instruments, and regulatory disclosures.
Experience in a listed company environment is a plus.
