Job Responsibilities
- Take off quantities and conduct site measurements of work done.
- Source, select, and evaluate contractors, suppliers, and specialists.
- Prepare payment certificates for contractors and consultants.
- Liaise with consultants during pre-contract and post-contract phases.
- Assist in preparing tender documents for new project bids and contract documentation with successful bidders.
- Negotiate with contractors and suppliers for recurring and ad-hoc works.
- Assist the Head of Department in monitoring and managing the administration of contracts and sub-contracts, including preparing progress reports, recommending payments, and finalizing accounts.
- Have basic knowledge of and assist in project costing.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and work instructions as per the Quality System, Health, Safety, and Environment requirements, demonstrating Risk-Based Thinking and a Performance-Based Approach to achieve desired results.
