Job description

Role Purpose:

To support the effective delivery of change communication strategies across the organization by ensuring messages are clearly crafted, consistently delivered, and aligned with transformation objectives. The Junior Executive will play a key role in promoting employee engagement, transparency, and feedback during change initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Support in Crafting Clear Messages

  • Assist in drafting clear, concise communication materials (emails, FAQs, presentations, posters) that convey transformation goals and benefits.

2. Tailor Communication for Target Audiences

  • Adapt communication styles and content to suit different employee groups, functions, or leadership levels to improve relevance and engagement.

3. Utilize Appropriate Communication Channels

  • Help coordinate the use of various platforms (e.g., town halls, email newsletters, Yammer, WhatsApp, digital displays) to effectively disseminate messages.

4. Promote Transparency and Trust

  • Support initiatives that encourage open and honest communication across departments to reduce resistance and build trust in the transformation.

5. Engage Leadership in Communication

  • Prepare materials for leaders and line managers to help them cascade messages and model desired behaviors

6. Provide Regular Updates

  • Assist in maintaining a communications calendar and ensuring timely updates are delivered across all levels of the organization.

7. Facilitate Feedback Mechanisms

  • Coordinate feedback channels such as pulse surveys, focus groups, or feedback forms to capture employee sentiments and suggestions.

8. Encourage Two-Way Dialogue

  • Promote team discussions, feedback sessions, or informal chats to enhance communication flow between staff and leaders.

9. Reinforce Key Messages

  • Support ongoing efforts to repeat and reinforce critical messages to strengthen understanding and alignment.

10. Track Communication Effectiveness

  • Assist in monitoring communication reach, clarity, and impact through surveys or engagement metrics, and recommend improvements as needed.

Requirements:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, Public Relations, Business, or related field.
  • 1–2 years of relevant experience in corporate communications, internal comms, or employee engagement roles is an advantage.
  • Fresh graduates with strong communication skills are encouraged to apply.
